Preliminary reports indicate that on 08/18/2026, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Troopers assigned to Troop C in Tolland responded to a report of a suspicious incident on South Road in Somers. Upon arrival, Troopers located one individual with apparent gunshot wounds, who was subsequently pronounced deceased.
