Griswold Man Charged in October 2023 Pomfret Fatal Accident

Ian Gillis, DOB 05/17/89 turned himself into Troop D- Danielson on 06/19/24. Gillis was taken into custody on the strength of an active arrest warrant and processed for the following charges:

CGS 53a-56b; Manslaughter 2nd w/Motor Vehicle

CGS 14-227a; Illegal Operation of a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence Alcohol/Drugs

CGS 14-222; Reckless Driving

CGS 14-230(a); Failure to Drive Upon Right Side of Roadway

Gillis was later released on a $125,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment at Danielson Superior Court on 07/01/24. Please see attached arrest warrant below.
