On 08/19/2024 at approximately 11:13 AM, Detectives with the Western District Major Crime (WDMC) unit arrested Sharon Resident, Kevin Brathwaite (DOB 04/07/1997), for Sexual Assault involving a minor. Brathwaite was transported to Troop B in North Canaan where he was processed and charged with the following violations:
C.G.S. 53a-71(a)(1) - Sexual Assault 2nd Degree
C.G.G. 53-21 - Risk of Injury to a Child
Brathwaite was held on a $100,000 bond and was scheduled for arraignment at Torrington Superior Court on 08/20/2024.
