Detectives Arrest Hamden Man for Possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material

On Friday, 04/04/2025, Otilio Green (DOB: 08/22/1981) was arrested on the strength of an active arrest warrant. The warrant for Green's arrest was issued following an investigation by the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit, in collaboration with the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Task Force. The investigation was initiated after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) provided a tip regarding Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) uploaded to a server.
Green was arrested and transported to the New Haven Federal Courthouse, where he was processed and charged with the following violation:
C.G.S. 53a-196d(a)(1) - Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material 1st Degree
Green was released from State Police custody on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on 04/16/2025 for this charge. Immediately after his release, he was taken into federal custody by HSI on related federal charges of CSAM possession.
