On Wednesday, 02/26/2025 at approximately 7:35 AM, Michael Mancini (DOB 07/04/1973), of Killingly, was located and arrested by Eastern District Major Crimes Detectives on the strength of two separate arrest warrants. The warrants for Mancini's arrest stemmed from sexual assault investigations involving two separate juvenile victims, to which both investigations began in December 2024.
Mancini was arrested without incident and transported to Troop D, where he was processed on the following charges pursuant to both warrants:
CGS 53-21; Risk of Injury to a Minor (2 counts)
CGS 53a-71(a)(4); Sexual Assault 2nd Degree- Victim Under 18, Actor as Guardian
CGS 53a-71(a)(1); Sexual Assault 2nd Degree- Victim Age 13-15, Actor Greater Than 3 Years Older
CGS 53a-73a; Sexual Assault 4th Degree (2 counts)
Mancini was held on a cumulative $700,000 in court set bonds and was later transported to Danielson Superior Court for same day arraignment. Please see the attached arrest warrants and criminal information summaries; this remains an active investigation.
