Griswold Man Arrested for Sexual Assault; Risk of Injury following December 2024 Investigation in Griswold

On Sunday, 04/13/25, at approximately 5:45 PM, Scott Glen Roy (DOB 04/26/71) was located and arrested on the strength of an active arrest warrant. The warrant for Roy's arrest stems from an investigation which began in December 2024 in which Roy was alleged to have been engaging in inappropriate physical contact with minor children at a neighboring residence.
Roy was arrested without incident and transported to Troop E- Montville, where he was processed on the following charges pursuant to the arrest warrant:
CGS 53-21; Risk of Injury to a Child (4 counts)
CGS 53a-70; Sexual Assault 1st Degree
CGS 53a-73a; Sexual Assault 4th Degree (3 counts)
Roy was later released from custody on a $200,000 court-set bond and is scheduled to appear at Norwich Superior Court on 04/24/25. Please see the attached arrest warrant & criminal information summary.
