On Wednesday, 10/23/24, at approximately 9:00 AM, Christine Vardanian (DOB 01/06/68), of Marlborough, turned herself into Troop K- Colchester on the strength of an active arrest warrant. The arrest warrant for Vardanian was the result of a lengthy criminal investigation in which Vardanian was alleged to have misused RHAM district funds for personal use over an approximate 5-year span totaling approximately $40,000. Vardanian was processed on the following charge pursuant to the arrest warrant:
CGS 53a-122; Larceny 1st Degree
Vardanian was later released from custody on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Rockville Superior Court on 11/04/24. Please see the attached arrest warrant and criminal information summary.
