Media Advisory- Services for TFC Aaron Pelletier

FUNERAL SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS FOR TROOPER FIRST CLASS AARON PELLETIER  

Calling hours for Trooper First Class Aaron Pelletier will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Della Vecchia Funeral Home, 211 North Main St, Southington, CT. Hours for family and friends of TFC Pelletier will be held from 12:00 PM- 3:00 PM. Hours for law enforcement personnel ONLY will be held from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM.




***Media staging area for calling hours will be in the parking lot of the Southington Fire Department, 310 North Main St, Southington, CT.***


The funeral for Trooper First Class Aaron Pelletier will take place on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at  11:00 a.m., at the Xfinity Theatre, 61 Savitt Way, Hartford, CT.

Members of the public who wish to attend are instructed to park in the north lot extension; the Hartford Police Department will be on site to assist with traffic & parking.


***Media staging area for the funeral will be outside of the venue at the Gate C pavilion.***

 

Items prohibited from the venue: bags (including purses), flowers, gifts, professional cameras.  


Members of the media attending the funeral may unload equipment at the staging area and are asked to park in the north lot extension. Media cameras are NOT permitted inside the venue at the request of the family. There will be no interviews with family members; please respect these wishes. In addition, NO drones will be allowed to fly over the venue or the general vicinity.


Law enforcement attending the funeral are instructed to park in the north lot extension; north lot adjacent to venue for CSP personnel. Law enforcement members are required to show official credentials. Once the venue is filled, no others will be permitted admittance. The funeral will be livestreamed at a link to follow.


Following services at the Xfinity Theater, TFC Aaron Pelletier and his family will be led by a CSP procession for burial services, which are NOT open to the public.


***Media staging area for the procession with be within the knoll area adjacent to the I-84 westbound exit 32 off ramp. Ample public parking available in the immediate area***


The family of TFC Aaron Pelletier has authorized the attached photos to be used to honor his life and legacy beyond his career with the Connecticut State Police.
