The Connecticut State Police is pleased to announce their participation in the first ever statewide law enforcement recruiting fair! The event will be held on Friday September 13th, 2024 at the Connecticut Police Academy, 285 Preston Ave. Meriden, CT from 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM. The event will be held outside in the front parking lot of the academy and track area. During the fair, participants will have the opportunity to meet with federal, state and local law enforcement recruiters, tour the academy facilities and watch a K9 demonstration by the Connecticut State Police (prior registration is required for academy tours). This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement. Members of the media interested in covering this event are welcome to come at any point during the fair. As the event will be occupying the front parking lot, additional parking will be available on the academy grounds for all attendees.
