On Saturday, January 11, 2025, Gerard Carbonaro (DOB: 12/21/1963), of Oxford, was arrested on the strength of an active arrest warrant. The warrant for Carbonaro's arrest stemmed from a road rage investigation in March 2024 on I-84 in Middlebury.
Carbonaro was arrested and transported to Troop A- Southbury for processing and charged with the following violations:
C.G.S. 14-222 - Reckless Driving
C.G.S. 14-232(a)(1) - Improper Passing
C.G.S. 53a-64 - Reckless Endangerment 2nd Degree
C.G.S. 53a-157b - False Statement
Following arrest processing, Carbonaro was released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment at Waterbury Superior Court on 01/21/2025.
