Shelton Man Arrested after Fleeing Attempted Traffic Stop in Stolen Vehicle in Woodbury

On Sunday, January 19, 2025, Shelton Police Officers assisted the CT State Police with locating and apprehending Adrian Ajdinoski (DOB: 08/27/1999) pursuant to an active arrest warrant. The warrant was issued following an investigation in which Ajdinoski fled from an attempted traffic stop initiated by a Woodbury Police Officer.


Ajdinoski was taken into State Police custody from Shelton Police Officers, and transferred to Troop L in Litchfield where he was processed and charged with the following violations:


C.G.S. 14-215 - Illegal Operation of a Motor Vehicle while Under Suspension


C.G.S. 14-222 - Reckless Driving


C.G.S. 14-223(b)** - Engaging Police in Pursuit


C.G.S. 22a-250(a) - Littering Violation


C.G.S. 53a-119c - Larceny of a Motor Vehicle


Ajdinoski was held on a $100,000 court-set bond and is scheduled for arraignment at Waterbury Superior Court on 01/21/2025.
