Woodstock Woman Facing Animal Cruelty Charges Taken Into State Police Custody

On 08/21/2024, approximately 1:52 p.m., Troopers assigned to Troop D in Danielson along with Killingly Police responded to NECCOG Animal Control, at 125 Putnam Pike, in Dayville. Troop D had developed information that a female, Tracy Donovan, DOB 12/21/1964, was currently at that location and was the subject of an active arrest warrant. 

 

Upon arrival, Troopers and Killingly Officers made contact with a female, positively identified as Donovan. After being advised of the active warrant for her arrest, Donovan was taken into State Police custody and transported to Troop D, where she was processed and charged with the following violations, based upon the active arrest warrant:

 

C.G.S. 53a-247, Cruelty to Animals (103 counts)

 

Following arrest processing, Donovan was held on a $150,000 cash/surety bond and is scheduled for arraignment at Danielson Superior Court, on 08/22/2024.
